Vermont House of Representatives passes H.829, including new tax bracket for marginal income over $500,000.

The people of Vermont deserve to live in healthy, resilient, equitable communities where everyone has the basic resources and support they need to thrive.
But currently, our state is not raising sufficient revenue to make crucial public investments and meet this goal. At the same time, Vermont has skyrocketing income and wealth inequality and our tax code isn’t keeping up.
